In response to the news that Porsche has formally launched its High Court action to challenge the London pollution charge, Friends of the Earth Executive Director Tony Juniper said Porsche had clearly misunderstood public opinion, since the majority of Londoners support an increased congestion charge for the most polluting vehicles. He said it was high time Porsche stopped fighting popular initiatives and started manufacturing cleaner vehicles.
