If you haven’t already, it’s time to go hands-free. California’s new law barring drivers from talking on cell phones unless they use some kind of hands-free device takes effect July 1. Hands-free options range from Bluetooth headsets to old-fashioned corded headsets to speakerphone systems that are built into the latest cars.
