As mentioned in a previous article the most important component of any video or DVD production is the script. We would liken the importance of the script to the importance of a house foundation. The shot list would tend to follow the script in the video production process, and allows you to think about what pictures need to be captured to “tell the tale” visually. Included are some practical tips on how to go about putting together a shot list.
