Pokémon Go developer Niantic expanded the roster of catchable Pokémon a few weeks ago. Niantic also says the Pikachus wearing “festive hats” are sticking around longer. It’s all part of Niantic’s effort to reinvigorate the game, which has faded from its sky-high popularity this summer.
