Although concerns still exist over Android handset and marketplace fragmentation, it seems more and more developers are warming up to the idea of supporting the Google-backed mobile operating system. A new survey from Appcelerator and IDC indicates 87 percent of developers are “very interested” in creating applications for Android. That still isn’t quite as much as iOS — 92 percent of survey respondents said they were “very interested” in developing for Apple’s mobile operating system.
