Terma have designed and built C4IS systems for more than 30 years, and with this experience, we are able to provide the partnership needed to design and implement any scale of command and control, ranging from battle management systems to advanced C4IS systems.
T-CORE C4IS FRAMEWORK
Having designed multiple command and control systems for different customers and purposes, we found that many functions were similar from system to system. Based on this, we developed a C4IS framework named T-Core, a generic core composed of software components offering all common C4I functions identified in army, navy and air force as well as civilian mission-critical systems.
T-Core enables efficient system implementation and makes it possible to deliver C4IS systems with customisable functionality on time and with low risk.

INTERCONNECT SENSORS AND EFFECTORS
Timely and accessible information is vital for situational awareness, force tracking and identification. T-Core offers a service-oriented approach on how to interconnect sensors, effectors and communication assets, which means that you can access all assets connected to your network as if they were connected locally. T-Core is an independent framework allowing interfaces to almost any manufacture of sensor, effector or communication equipment.
Sensor and effector services can be utilised individually, combined and / or joint ‐ providing a perfect basis for network centric warfare operations. Based on T-Core, any system supplied by Terma can easily be adapted to individual customer needs in relation to sensor, weapon, Human Machine Interface (HMI) and communication platform interfaces.
Seamless integration of multiple communication systems is possible through the T-Core interface application, which supports multiple data links and protocols, such as Advanced Tactical Data Links (ATDL), Link 1, Link 11, Link 16, ADat-P3, and BFT (NFFI).

Instead of developing an entire new system or capability from scratch for each customer, we use the same framework components for all army, navy and air force systems ‐ T-Core.
