Lest anyone think that the Android vs. iPhone smartphone war would cause Google and Apple to turn their backs on each other permanently, this week we’ve seen a touch of cooperation between the two, at least in terms of mobile apps. First Apple OKed Google Voice for iPhone. Maybe it wanted peace, maybe it got a kick in the pants from some federal authorities, but whatever the reason, it puts to rest a minor controversy that started several months ago when Apple first gave the app the thumbs down.
