Government increases climate emissions target to 80 per cent – as Miliband backs financial incentives for small-scale renewable energy

Friends of the Earth has welcomed the Government’s decision today (Thursday 16 October 2008) to increase its target for cutting UK emissions to 80 per cent but warned pollution from planes and ships needs to be dealt with in law.
