Reuters: The Kansas legislature overwhelmingly passed a renewable energy bill on Friday that would also allow for the construction of a new coal fired power plant. The House passed the bill 103 to 18 today and the Senate voted 37 to 2 on May 7. The bill now goes to Gov.
