Advanced Micro Devices shares fell to a 52-week low Wednesday after a pair of Wall Street analysts said the company appears to be unable to make adequate volumes of its new Barcelona server processor. The Sunnyvale, Calif., chip maker also acknowledged a bug in both Barcelona, which was introduced in mid September, and its new desktop chip, Phenom, which launched last month.
