MILITARY AERIAL WORK-PLATFORMS AND TELEHANDLERS
Terex Aerial Work Platforms designs, manufactures and markets aerial
work-platform equipment, telehandlers, light construction equipment and
construction trailers.
Products include material lifts, portable aerial work platforms,
trailer-mounted articulating booms, self-propelled articulating and telescopic
booms, scissor lifts, telehandlers, construction trailers, trailer-mounted
light towers, concrete finishing equipment, power buggies, generators, traffic
control products, related components and replacement parts.
These products are primarily used by the armed forces to build and / or
maintain large physical assets and structures.
INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION AND QUARRYING EQUIPMENT
The Terex Construction segment designs, manufactures and markets two primary
categories of equipment and their related components and replacement parts:
heavy construction equipment and compact construction equipment. Armed forces
use this equipment for infrastructure projects and quarrying.
MILITARY HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
Military heavy construction equipment supplied by Terex includes off-highway
trucks, motor scrapers, motor graders, hydraulic excavators, large wheel
loaders, material loading machines and truck-mounted, articulated hydraulic
cranes.
MILITARY COMPACT CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
Terex also provides a wide range of compact construction equipment,
including loader backhoes, compaction equipment, mini and midi-excavators, site
dumpers and wheel loaders.
MILITARY CRANES AND ACCESSORIES
The Terex Cranes segment designs, manufactures and markets military cranes,
including mobile telescopic cranes, tower cranes, lattice boom crawler cranes,
truck mounted cranes (boom trucks) and telescopic container stackers, as well
as their related replacement parts and components.
These products are primarily used by the armed forces for construction,
repair and maintenance of infrastructure, building and manufacturing facilities
and heavy lifting.
MATERIAL PROCESSING AND MINING EQUIPMENT
Terex Materials Processing and Mining designs, manufactures and markets
crushing and screening equipment (including crushers, impactors, washing
systems, screens, trommels and feeders).
It also supplies hydraulic mining excavators, high-capacity surface mining
trucks, drilling equipment, replacement components and replacement parts, and
other products.
Military forces utilize this equipment for construction, quarrying,
reclamation and repair of assets and structures.
ROAD BUILDING EQUIPMENT
The Terex Road Building, Utility Products and Other segment designs,
manufactures and markets asphalt and concrete equipment (including pavers,
plants, mixers, reclaimers, stabilizers and profilers), landfill compactors and
utility equipment (including digger derricks, aerial devices and cable
placers), and related components and replacement parts.
Primarily used by governments and armed forces, these products are ideal for
building roads, as well as the construction and maintenance of utility lines
and assets.
CUSTOMIZED MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS
Terex can offer commercial military construction products, as well as
customized products to meet individual customers’ requirements.
MILITARY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT LEASING AND RENTING
Terex also leases and rents a variety of heavy military construction equipment
to third parties under the Terex Asset Services name. The company, through
Terex Financial Services, facilitates loans and leases between customers and
various financial institutions.
In Europe, Terex Financial Services Holding (TFSH), a joint venture of the
company and a European financial institution, assists customers in the
acquisition of all Terex’s products.
