Yahoo wants to tie all its various services together so each user needs to log in just once to access and manage its services, and will be able to do so from one central site. To do this, it is rewiring its architecture from the inside out and opening up its platform to third-party developers, Yahoo chief technology officer Ari Balogh said at the Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco.
