Investor’s Business Daily – The volume of certain structures in the brain can indicate how well a person performs on a video game, says a study in the journal Cerebral Cortex. This is the first time that scientists have been able to predict performance and learning rates in real-world tasks by looking at the physical size of brain regions, the study’s authors say. Gamers with larger brain structures for learning procedures and new skills dealt better with a number of variables.
