Investor’s Business Daily – Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD – News), the U.K. wireless service provider, agreed to pay $5 bil cash to buy out Essar Group’s 33% stake in their Indian joint venture. Vodafone originally paid $11 bil for a 67% stake in Hutchison Essar. Vodafone fell 1.5% to 28.75.
