Put together by Industrial Light & Magic, the spot doesn't actually feature any footage from the film (director Gareth Edwards hasn't begun shooting his movie just yet). As the camera reaches the end of a ravine, a TIE Fighter zooms overhead, heading toward what appears to be a small moon… but is actually the Death Star. As described by Edwards, Rogue One is about a Rebel mission to steal the plans for the Death Star — the same plans that allowed Luke Skywalker to blow up the space station in Episode IV.
