Lockheed Martin, a prominent defense contractor, has secured a substantial $2.4 billion contract for the production of 16 new Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile interceptors. This contract, announced on April 14, 2023, is specifically aimed at enhancing the U.S. Army’s Patriot missile defense system.
